[PRE-ORDER] July Mug: Pine Warbler

Will measure approximately 4 inches tall, 5 inches wide and will hold approximately 16 fl oz. 

This mug is a part of my series celebrating one new bird every month this year. They are only available as pre-orders and when they're gone they're gone. I want to focus on making a wider variety of birds this year so I may not revisit this bird again, or at least not for a while. Each pre-order gets a free sticker corresponding with the bird on the mug. 

July's bird mug of the month is the Pine Warbler! The inspiration for this mug is a little personal. My father in law passed away last month after a long illness and on the day he passed we took a walk outside. There was this little pine warbler that swooped in front of us and hopped on the trail and then flew into the trees. I've never before seen a pine warbler except for hearing them in the bushes, so this was a rare sight to behold. He was a good man, very kind, a great mentor to so many, and a bright light in the community. To honor my father in law, who also loved birds very much, I wanted to feature this little pine warbler for July's Bird Mug of the Month. I will also be donating 10% of all sales to the Alzheimer's Association. 

THIS MUG IS A PRE-ORDER! You will receive a custom mug made just for you. Current production time is 4-6 weeks though I try to make pre-orders as fast as I can so you can enjoy this mug as soon as possible. 

This piece is food and microwave safe. Though it is dishwasher safe (and I use the dishwasher for the pieces I keep), hand washing your ceramic pot is always the best way to prolong the life of your handmade piece, as some detergents can be extremely harsh. If you use the dishwasher, I recommend a natural and gentle detergent to help prolong the life of your piece.
