THIS PLATE IS A SECOND! See the photo that highlights the flaw in this pot. This piece was part of an entire batch of pots that had extra runny glaze, so the glaze ran right off the pot and stuck to the shelf. Ceramics can be a mighty humbling medium and honesty that unpredictability is one of the things I love about pottery. After hours of grinding and sanding each pot smooth, removing excess glaze, and testing for cracks and functionality, they are still functional and still beautiful. They are offered at a huge discount to help these flawed but functional pots find a home.

This piece is food and microwave safe. Though it is dishwasher safe (and I use the dishwasher for the pieces I keep), hand washing your ceramic pot is always the best way to prolong the life of your handmade piece, as some detergents can be extremely harsh. If you use the dishwasher, I recommend a natural and gentle detergent to help prolong the life of your piece.
